Anegada Beach Club sits on one of the British Virgin Islands’ most famous stretches of white sand, offering a quietly luxurious base for visitors who come for reef snorkeling, lobster and unhurried island life. The hotel grew from an existing structure into a low‑impact seaside resort that highlights natural materials, local flavours and breezy palapa architecture.
The property comprises a main building with 16 air-conditioned rooms (12 king, four twin, including a family suite) and nine highly sought-after palapas. Palapas—either ocean view or beachfront—are naturally cooled by trade winds and feature king canopy beds, ocean-facing decks and hammocks.
One palapa unit contains two king rooms joined by a communal deck, a configuration popular with families. Dining is centred at the poolside restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and showcasing Anegada’s seasonal lobster and other locally caught seafood. Uniquely, Anegada Beach Club operates the only public pool on Anegada, making it a draw for island visitors as well as overnight guests.
The hotel also runs a complimentary shuttle to The Lobster Trap at Setting Point, which offers Anegada’s only overwater dining and is a favoured spot for sunset watching. Wellness and adventure are woven into the guest experience. A Touch of the Caribbean Day Spa occupies a thatched beachfront space offering massages, body treatments using local ingredients and Elemis facials.
On the active side, Tommy Gaunt Kitesurfing—the onsite watersports centre led by an international pro—provides kitesurf lessons, e-foil and wing-foil rentals, SUP mangrove tours and snorkels at Horseshoe Reef. The hotel can also arrange horse riding and car rentals for independent island exploration.
For residents of the BVI, Anegada Beach Club is noteworthy for more than its amenities: it supports local fishers and suppliers through its menus, provides jobs on Anegada and attracts repeat visitors who contribute to the island’s seasonal economy. Staff say many guests return year after year, some bringing children who grow up visiting the hotel.
The hotel is available for full buyouts—popular for weddings and family reunions—and plans for the 2025/26 season include relocating the beach bar to the sand’s edge to refresh beachfront energy.
