Anegada Lobster Festival Returns November 28–30
The Anegada Lobster Festival returns for its 13th year from November 28–30, 2025, closing out this year’s BVI Food Fete with three days of food, music and island discovery. Organised by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission with the Anegada community, the event features a culinary crawl, live music, island attractions and a strengthened focus on sustainability.
The Anegada Lobster Festival is set to bring residents and visitors to Anegada from November 28–30, 2025, as the finale of this year’s BVI Food Fete. Organised by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission (BVITBFC) in partnership with the Anegada community, the festival marks its 13th edition and aims to showcase the island’s culinary offerings, culture and natural attractions.
The festival retains its signature culinary crawl — a scavenger-hunt-style tasting tour that encourages people to explore Anegada’s roads, beaches and local businesses while sampling lobster creations at participating restaurants. Nine eateries have already confirmed participation, with more expected.
Confirmed stops include: Anegada Beach Club — Spicy Fried Lobster Mac & Cheese, Drunken Lobster Kebab Anegada Reef Hotel — Lobster Wonton with Garlic Sauce Big Bamboo — Lobster Fritter Flash of Beauty — Curried Lobster with Plantain Balls Lobster Trap — Dynamite Lobster, Lobster Cake with Sriracha Mayo Pink Flamingo — Jerk Lobster Sandwich Potter’s By the Sea — Curried Lobster Sid’s Pomato Point — 3 Cheese Lobster Mac & Cheese Bites Tipsy — Lobster Mac & Cheese, Lobster Fritter From grilled and jerked to curried and creamy, each venue will offer a sampler that transforms the island into a tasting trail.
The Tourist Board has invested in maps, brochures and curated experiences to help festivalgoers navigate the island and discover attractions beyond the food. Anegada’s heritage sites and natural highlights feature heavily in the festival programme. Visitors and residents can visit Flamingo Point Lookout, the Conch Shell Mounds, Faulkner House Museum, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Anegada Iguana Headstart Facility.
Adventure options include snorkelling, kiteboarding, kayaking, scooter and horseback riding, plus relaxed beach time and sunset views. Evenings will bring live music from Virgin Islands and regional performers, craft stalls with local artisans, and community beach gatherings. Organisers say sustainability remains central: responsible lobster sourcing and eco-friendly event practices will be emphasised to protect Anegada’s delicate ecosystems.
Local residents are encouraged to support Anegada businesses, book transport and accommodation early, and follow BVITBFC channels for updates on additional participants, event schedules and ticketing. Whether you come for the lobster or the island, the three-day festival aims to celebrate Anegada in full colour and support its year-round tourism economy.
