Trèfle, the luxury fashion house founded in Tortola in 2008, has brought its latest collection, ANNUM, to London in an invitation-only exhibition at Broadwick Studio in Canary Wharf. The show introduced the brand’s Caribbean-rooted aesthetic to UK audiences while marking what the designer describes as both a look back and a new beginning for the label.

According to a Trèfle press release, ANNUM draws on more than 17 years of design experience and revisits the stories behind every Trèfle collection since the brand’s founding. The presentation featured the label’s signature swimwear and resortwear, the debut of knitwear as a new category, and a selection of curated accessories, with select pieces available for immediate purchase and the wider collection opening for pre-order in the coming weeks.

Frazer framed ANNUM as intensely personal. "ANNUM is my foundation," she said, explaining that the series reflects years of growth, resilience and creative development. Frazer also noted the symbolic importance of taking a collection from a small Caribbean island to a global fashion capital: "Coming from a small island in the British Virgin Islands, bringing this collection to London is more than a career milestone—it is proof that purpose, persistence, and belief can carry your story anywhere in the world." Guests at the Canary Wharf event included members of the fashion industry, brand supporters and invited contacts, and the evening emphasised craftsmanship and storytelling as core Trèfle values.

For BVI residents, the launch is a visible affirmation that local creative enterprises can reach international markets while promoting Caribbean identity through luxury design. The London showcase also highlights potential benefits for the BVI creative economy. As Trèfle expands its audience, it may attract attention to the territory’s design talent, encourage collaborations, and inspire other local entrepreneurs to pursue international growth.

The collection’s focus on handcrafted detail and narrative-driven design aligns with a growing global appetite for provenance and cultural authenticity—an asset the BVI can leverage beyond fashion, in tourism and cultural promotion. As ANNUM becomes available, Trèfle’s progression from a Tortola workshop to a London exhibition offers a cue for locals and stakeholders to support homegrown brands that carry the territory’s story onto the world stage.
