BVI Cabinet Doubles Support for Local Entrepreneurs
The Virgin Islands Cabinet has significantly increased its support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by revising the MSME Grant Programme Policy. The policy adjustments, finalized on July 30, aim to catalyze the growth and resilience of small businesses across the territory by not only increasing funding but also by broadening the eligibility criteria for potential grant recipients. Further enhancing the support framework for MSMEs, the updated policy authorizes the Ministry of Financial Services, Economic Development, and Digital Transformation to explore and establish partnerships with local, regional, and international agencies.
