Her family announced her peaceful passing, celebrating a life defined by unwavering faith, tireless industry, and profound devotion to her loved ones and community.
Turnbull-Stoutt was the last surviving of ten children born to William and Amelia Turnbull. Remarkable longevity ran deeply in her lineage, as her mother lived to be 101 years and six months old, her sister Ann Eliza Thomas lived to 101 years and two months, and her aunt Eliza Turnbull reached the extraordinary age of 110.
On September 9, 1952, she married the late Prince Stoutt of Long Bay. Throughout his tenure serving the Territory as a legislator, she was known as a steadfast and supportive partner while cultivating a household anchored in love, care, and discipline. Together, they raised twelve children: Denzil Clyne, Gladia Fahie, Prince Alford Stoutt, Lucien Stoutt, Wilford Stoutt, Berinice Stoutt Lewis, Janice A.

Turnbull-Stoutt was a lifelong and passionate farmer. Over the decades, she cultivated numerous grounds to provide fresh produce for her family and community. She planted and nurtured a wide variety of fruit trees, established a pineapple garden that still thrives today, and reared pigs, goats, sheep, and poultry.
Her enduring commitment to food production and territory-wide sustainability earned her several awards and recognitions from the Department of Agriculture. Her milestone 100th birthday celebration brought together community members and public officials, including Governor Daniel Pruce, Premier Dr.
Turnbull-Stoutt leaves behind an enduring legacy of service, character, and resilience across the British Virgin Islands.
