BVI Drawn Into U17 Qualifier Group
The British Virgin Islands Women’s Under-17 team has been placed in Group E for the 2026 CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Qualifiers alongside Costa Rica, Cuba, Grenada and Anguilla. Group E matches are set for Jan. 24–Feb. 2, 2026, after a draw held at CONCACAF headquarters in Miami.
The British Virgin Islands Women’s Under-17 National Team has been drawn into Group E for the 2026 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers, the BVI Football Association announced. The group features Costa Rica, Cuba, Grenada and Anguilla, with matches scheduled between Jan. 24 and Feb. 2, 2026.
The draw was conducted at CONCACAF headquarters in Miami, Florida. The qualifying phase includes 34 national teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean and is divided into six groups, labeled A through F. CONCACAF has confirmed that each group winner will advance to the Championship Round to join the region’s top-seeded nations.
That Championship Round will determine CONCACAF’s representatives at the FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup, making these fixtures an important step on the international pathway. For the BVI squad, the draw presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Costa Rica is traditionally one of the stronger Central American sides at youth level, while Cuba brings physicality and regional experience.
Grenada and Anguilla offer local rivalry and familiar Caribbean competition.
