BVI Finance Roadshow Heads to Latin America
BVI Finance has rescheduled its 2026 Latin America roadshow for July 13–16, visiting Lima, Bogota and Panama City to promote the Territory's financial services. The programme, themed 'The BVI Advantage: Global Solutions for Latin America', aims to strengthen ties with regional partners and highlight the Virgin Islands' role in international business and wealth management.
BVI Finance has confirmed new dates for its 2026 Latin America roadshow, which will now take place from July 13 to 16 after being originally scheduled for March. The organisation announced the change in its May 29, 2026 newsletter, stressing its continued commitment to deepening relationships across the region and renewing engagement with clients and partners.
The three-day BVI–Latin America Roadshow will run under the theme "The BVI Advantage: Global Solutions for Latin America." The delegation will visit three cities: Lima, Peru on July 13 (Westin Lima Hotel and Convention Center); Bogota, Colombia on July 15 (Club El Nogal); and Panama City, Panama on July 16 (Hilton Panama).
BVI Finance said it looks forward to welcoming the Latin American community and thanked attendees for their "continued interest, patience, and support." For residents of the British Virgin Islands, the roadshow matters because Latin America has long been a key market for the Territory's financial services industry.
BVI entities have supported international business and wealth management strategies in the region for nearly 40 years, and continued promotion helps sustain the Territory's reputation as a trusted jurisdiction for corporate, fiduciary and private client services. Officials and industry delegates at roadshows typically meet with local banks, law firms, trustees, family offices and regulatory stakeholders to discuss market trends, cross-border structuring, tax and compliance developments, and emerging client needs.

Smith, OBE (AL), Junior Minister for Financial Services, and included stops in Sao Paulo, Montevideo and Buenos Aires. BVI Finance’s July roadshow is expected to be a mix of formal presentations, roundtables and private meetings to showcase the Territory's legal frameworks, service offerings and regulatory standards.
