BVI Mourns the Loss of Cultural Icon
The British Virgin Islands community is in mourning after the death of beloved music icon Jeavon ‘Sasso’, who passed away following a tragic two-vehicle collision on September 8, 2025. Hon. The tragic passing of Sasso, following a critical injury from a two-vehicle collision along the Rhymer Highway near the KLR entrance on St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, on September 8, 2025, has left a void in the hearts of many.
He was subsequently removed from life support days later, marking a profound loss for the music and cultural heritage of the Virgin Islands. Sasso was 42 years old at the time of his passing.
