The territory's primary power provider is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to handle customer transactions and support the utility's day-to-day revenue collection on the sister island.
Operating within the Finance Department and reporting directly to the Accounts Officer, the Cashier will be responsible for the accurate, efficient, and secure processing of payments made via cash, debit, and credit cards. In addition to daily financial intake, the role entails reconciling payments, maintaining accurate transaction documentation, assisting customers with setting up online payment accounts, and resolving billing-related inquiries.
The position also requires close collaboration with internal teams and coordination with field staff regarding service disconnections and reconnections. While based primarily in an office setting, the role may require extended working hours during peak billing cycles and operational surges.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, alongside up to one year of experience in customer service, cashiering, or an administrative office setting. The Corporation is seeking candidates with sound interpersonal skills, basic bookkeeping knowledge, numerical proficiency, and familiarity with standard computer applications.
