Bvipa Announces Inaugural PortVision Maritime Conference

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority is preparing to host its first-ever PortVision Conference, scheduled for October 1 and 2 at Maria’s by the Sea in Road Town. Guided by the theme Innovation and Sustainability in Seaport Operations, the two-day summit aims to gather regional and international maritime professionals to chart the future of the Territory's marine sector.
The landmark conference marks a significant milestone in the Authority’s 35th anniversary of service, celebrating more than three decades of managing port facilities and facilitating maritime commerce across the Virgin Islands. Organizers envision the conference as an opportunity to reflect on past achievements while developing forward-looking strategies to modernize local port operations.
PortVision 2026 will convene key decision-makers and stakeholders from across the maritime ecosystem, including representatives from the cruise, domestic and international ferry, cargo, and marine tourism sectors.
