Bvipa Seeks Proposals for Port Warehouse
The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority is inviting qualified contractors to submit proposals to construct a general cargo warehouse at Port Purcell, Tortola. Proposals must be delivered in sealed envelopes by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026; a compulsory site visit is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026.
The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) has formally invited proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of a General Cargo Warehouse at Port Purcell, Tortola. The project is part of BVIPA’s ongoing programme to bolster port infrastructure and to improve the efficiency, capacity and safety of cargo operations across the Territory.
The scope of works set out in the Request for Proposal (RFP) includes demolition, excavation and site clearance, construction of foundations, columns and slab, and the erection of a steel frame structure for the warehouse. BVIPA emphasises that contractors must be qualified and able to meet the technical and contractual requirements detailed in the full RFP document.
Interested tenderers are required to submit proposals in sealed envelopes to the BVIPA Administration Building at Port Purcell. The submission deadline is 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026. BVIPA has scheduled a site visit for interested parties at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026; contractors who wish to attend should contact Mr.
