Call for Parliamentary Policy Advisor
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Office of the House of Assembly, is inviting Expressions of Interest for a twelve-month Parliamentary Policy Advisor/Consultant. EOIs in non-editable format must be submitted to the Clerk by 30 January 2026; late submissions will not be accepted.
The Government of the Virgin Islands (GoVI), acting through the Office of the House of Assembly, has issued an invitation for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified, professional, experienced and resourceful individuals for the position of Parliamentary Policy Advisor/Consultant for a period of twelve months.
The consultancy is intended to support ongoing reforms of the House of Assembly by providing high-level policy advice. The successful advisor will work closely with the Speaker and the Clerk to advise on parliamentary procedure, prepare and draft policies to strengthen legislative capacity, and enhance governance, transparency and responsiveness within the House of Assembly.
Key responsibilities outlined in the announcement include developing and executing a proactive policy agenda, advising on proposed legislation and issues arising from parliamentary business, and providing guidance on procedure and governance matters. The Office is seeking candidates who can contribute both strategic direction and practical policy drafting skills to advance the Assembly’s reform objectives.
Interested applicants must submit EOIs in a non-editable format to the Clerk, Mrs. All submissions must be received by the Clerk no later than 30 January 2026. The announcement stresses that it is the responsibility of applicants to ensure their submission is received before the deadline and that late submissions will not be accepted for evaluation.
