Caribbean Airlines recorded a standout performance on its domestic airbridge between Trinidad and Tobago during the peak summer travel window, transporting 75,149 passengers throughout the month of August. The August milestone represents a substantial increase of more than 8,000 travelers compared to July, when the regional carrier flew 66,814 passengers between the two sister islands.
Airline officials attributed the solid numbers to proactive planning and responsive scheduling designed to address high seasonal demand. To accommodate the influx of summer travelers, the carrier rolled out capacity increases in targeted phases. The initial expansion launched in mid-July, followed by a secondary capacity boost at the start of August.
Specialized flight additions were also introduced during the Great Race weekend to handle concentrated holiday traffic. According to the airline, this phased approach allowed management to balance seat availability while preserving reliable, on-time connectivity across the busy route.
