Dash Me BVI Launches on Virgin Gorda
A new food-delivery app, Dash Me BVI, was soft-launched on Virgin Gorda on December 15, 2025. Created by local developer Zandin V. Noel, the free app connects customers with partner restaurants and aims to expand across the British Virgin Islands.
Dash Me BVI, a new food delivery service created by young Virgin Gorda resident Zandin V. Noel, was soft-launched on Monday, December 15, 2025. The app is designed to connect restaurants with customers who need food delivered while at work or prefer home delivery; it is available free for Android and iPhone users via the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store, Noel told Virgin Islands News Online.
Noel, who was born in the Virgin Islands and raised in Grenada, returned to the territory to attend the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design: Computer Science. He said Dash Me began as a college project and, after two years of development following graduation, he decided to bring the idea to life for residents of Virgin Gorda.
The app currently facilitates deliveries for partner restaurants Chez Bamboo and Food Palace, with Sugarcane Restaurant preparing to add its menu. Deliveries are coordinated through the app, and Noel said he personally completes deliveries for those partner venues during the soft-launch period. "All the orders were placed successfully and delivered successfully, so I'm guessing they had a very good experience because the app is very easy and straightforward," he said.
Noel described Virgin Gorda as a testing ground to work out operational details and collect user feedback before wider rollout. He told VINO he plans to expand next to Tortola and ultimately to the other sister islands, aiming to make Dash Me available across the BVI. For residents, the app offers added convenience and could provide a fresh revenue stream for local eateries that sign on.
A locally run delivery platform also has the potential to create informal work opportunities, particularly for young people familiar with ride and delivery work. Businesses and customers should note that partner lists and delivery coverage are likely to change as the service scales.
Dash Me’s soft launch highlights a growing local interest in digital solutions to everyday needs. Residents interested in trying the service can download the app on their mobile devices and watch for new restaurant partners and expanded coverage as Noel refines the platform and moves toward a wider launch across the territory.
