Deputy Governor's Office Calls for Public Input
The Office of the Deputy Governor is reaching out to the public to participate in a survey about the Public Service Transformation Programme. This initiative aims to modernize and develop the Public Service through digitalization, human resources, and governance improvements, with the survey available until 17 October 2025.
In an effort to further develop and modernize the Public Service, the Office of the Deputy Governor has announced an open invitation for members of the public to engage in a survey that seeks to gather feedback on the ongoing Public Service Transformation Programme. This survey, pivotal to shaping the future of public service in the British Virgin Islands, will be available until the 17th of October, 2025.
The Public Service Transformation Programme, under the guidance of Transformation Manager Kishann Cupid Braithwaite, has been a cornerstone in driving advancements within the Public Service over the past seven years. "Our focus has spanned from digital transformation to enhancing human resources, public administration, governance, and customer service.
The improvements we've made are all in an effort to better serve our community," Mrs. She emphasized the importance of public input as the programme embarks on a new phase under a newly launched Strategic Framework. The Strategic Framework, introduced earlier this year, aims to align the transformation programme with national plans more closely, address organizational development gaps, and establish methods for progressing the Public Service.
This framework is seen as an essential step towards realizing a more efficient, responsive, and modernized service delivery that meets the needs and expectations of the public. According to the Office of the Deputy Governor, the survey is designed to be both accessible and confidential, taking approximately 10 minutes to complete.
