A 41-year-old man residing in East End has been formally charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into a commercial bar and stealing several beverages earlier this year. According to reports, the break-in took place at an East End establishment in July. The owner of the venue had secured the premises for the night, but returned the following day to discover that an intruder had gained entry and stolen inventory from the business.

Investigators reviewing closed-circuit surveillance footage observed a masked individual matching the suspect's description moving inside the premises during the non-operating hours. Police subsequently secured additional video evidence that confirmed the identity of the suspect, leading to his apprehension by law enforcement officers last week.

During the booking and processing phase at the police station, the 41-year-old suspect was reportedly uncooperative with investigating officers and repeatedly denied the burglary allegations leveled against him. In addition to the break-in inquiry, police personnel reportedly uncovered a quantity of suspected crack cocaine during the intake search.

The accused man maintained that he had no knowledge of the illicit substances found in his possession. The arrest comes as the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force continues to address a pattern of commercial burglaries and robberies reported across various districts in recent months.

Business operators throughout the territory have been encouraged to maintain updated security infrastructure, ensure camera networks are operational, and report any suspicious activities immediately to local authorities.
