Residents and visitors across the Virgin Islands can look forward to generally fair and stable weather today, though occasional patches of moisture could bring brief interruptions of light rain. According to the morning forecast issued by the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services and shared by the Department of Disaster Management, the territory will remain under the influence of a stable atmospheric pattern.
However, localized pockets of low-level moisture moving along a moderate easterly wind flow are expected to generate occasional periods of cloudiness and passing showers throughout the day and into the night. Both daytime and nighttime conditions will feature partly cloudy skies with a low 20 percent chance of precipitation.
Any rainfall that does develop is anticipated to be brief and light, posing minimal disruption to daily commutes and outdoor activities across the islands. For mariners, inter-island ferry operators, and watersports enthusiasts, sea conditions remain favorable. Waves are forecast to peak between 3 and 5 feet (0.9 to 1.5 meters), supported by moderate easterly winds blowing at 9 to 17 miles per hour (15 to 28 km/h).
