The British Virgin Islands suffered a 3-0 defeat against the Turks and Caicos Islands in their second CONCACAF Nations League C group fixture at the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association National Stadium in Providenciales. The Virgin Islands squad started with aggressive intent and nearly claimed the lead within the opening minute.

Just 46 seconds into the match, Tyler Forbes delivered a dangerous cross from the right wing, but forward Javaun Splatt could only direct his effort toward the near post. Turks and Caicos quickly seized control, exploiting space along the left flank to break the deadlock in the ninth minute.

Billy Forbes fired past the BVI defense after receiving a well-placed delivery from the left wing to give the hosts an early 1-0 advantage. The home side doubled their lead early in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Junior Paul connected with another cross sent in from the left wing and slotted the ball into the net to make it 2-0.

Turks and Caicos continued to find success through wide attacks, sealing the victory in the 74th minute. A low cross from the left wing found Billy Forbes once again, who struck his second goal of the match to wrap up the 3-0 scoreline. The result leaves the BVI side searching for their first points in League C1 after earlier dropping their tournament opener by a 3-0 margin against Montserrat.

The Virgin Islands team will aim to bounce back when they take on Montserrat in a return leg scheduled for October 1. Elsewhere in regional action, the neighboring US Virgin Islands secured a 3-1 victory over the Bahamas in Group C at the Bethlehem Soccer Stadium in St. Croix, building on their 2-0 opening win over St.
