High temperatures are forecasted to reach around 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius), with heat levels presenting a major concern throughout the daylight hours. Skies will remain clear to partly cloudy, accompanied by a minimal 20 percent chance of brief, isolated showers. Winds are expected to blow from the southeast at 11 to 17 mph (18 to 27 km/h), while sea conditions remain favorable for mariners, with waves averaging between 2 and 3 feet (0.6 to 0.9 meters).
Conditions will remain quiet heading into the evening, with few clouds and a low 20 percent probability of showers. Given the high heat index, disaster management officials urge members of the public to take basic safety precautions to prevent heat-related illness. Individuals are advised to drink plenty of water throughout the day, particularly during the advisory window, and to avoid excessive consumption of caffeine and alcohol.
Outdoor workers, athletes, and residents should limit strenuous physical activity between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, taking frequent breaks in shaded or air-conditioned environments. Sun protection—including light-colored clothing, wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen—is highly recommended when outside.
