J’Nya Barnes & Osmarley Browne Crowned Princess
Francis Lettsome Primary School held its Angel of Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, where J’Nya K. Barnes and Osmarley Browne were crowned Princess and Prince of Christmas, respectively. According to VINO, both winners collected multiple category awards en route to their crowns; the Prince of Christmas segment was introduced this year to include male contestants in the competition.
Francis Lettsome Primary School (FLPS) presented its Angel of Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Eileene L. Lavity Stoutt Community College campus in Paraquita Bay. The show began promptly at 3:00 PM and brought families and community members together for an afternoon of holiday celebration and young talent.
Seven pupils took part in the competition, which was structured into five rounds to showcase a range of skills and personalities. The female contestants were Amia Calliste, J’Nya Barnes, Miyah Heskey and Brianna Bryan. The male contestants were Osmarley Browne, Royston Francis and Akeem Hopkinson.
According to a Facebook post from the school prior to the event, students had spent weeks rehearsing lines, refining songs and putting finishing touches on choreography to deliver a warm, family-friendly performance. The pageant’s five-round format gave each child opportunities to shine in introductory presentations, talent showcases, costume segments and a question-and-answer component — elements that reflect the structure of past FLPS pageants and were carried forward for this year’s show.
Organisers said the event was designed to provide a supportive environment for pupils to gain stage experience while bringing the community together during the holiday season. Barnes was crowned Princess of Christmas. VINO reported that Barnes captured several category honours on her way to the crown, including Best Introduction, Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity, Best Christmas Character Wear, Best Talent and Best Christmas Wear.
Brianna Bryan was named Miss Intellect, and Amia Calliste was the other contestant in the Princess of Christmas category. On the boys’ side, Osmarley Browne took the title of Prince of Christmas. VINO noted that Browne also collected multiple category awards: Best Introduction, Mister Intellect, Mister Popularity, Best Christmas Character Wear, Best Talent and Best Christmas Wear.
Akeem Hopkinson received the Mister Photogenic award. This year’s pageant included a new Prince of Christmas segment, expanding the competition to formally recognise male contestants; previous editions had featured only girls. The addition gave the boys a dedicated competitive category and broadened the event’s inclusivity, organisers and VINO reported.
The FLPS Angel of Christmas Pageant continues a recent school tradition of holiday performances and community celebration. Jae’Nyiah Defreitas was crowned the first-ever Francis Lettsome Primary School Angel of Christmas on December 12, 2024, establishing the precedent for the annual event, VINO noted.
For families who missed this year’s show or who want more information about future FLPS events, organisers recommend checking the school’s official Facebook page or contacting the school directly for updates on scheduling and attendance details.
