Jost Van Dyke to Host 'Jost Lime

In an exciting development for food enthusiasts and nightlife adventurers, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission (BVITBFC) has unveiled 'Jost Lime & Dine,' a premier culinary event set to take place on Jost Van Dyke. Beginning on Valentine's Day, February 14th, and continuing every Saturday and Sunday until March 16th, 2025, this initiative is part of the much-anticipated BVI Food Fete series.
Designed to illuminate the rich culinary culture and spirited nightlife of Jost Van Dyke, 'Jost Lime & Dine' offers residents and tourists from Tortola an exceptional opportunity to explore the island after dark. A notable feature of this year's event is the introduction of a late-night ferry service by New Horizon Ferry, facilitating return trips to Tortola at 10:45 pm.
This service aims to broaden the evening's accessibility to those not staying overnight on the island, ensuring everyone can partake in the nocturnal offerings. McCoy, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with the local community and businesses to launch this initiative. Highlighting the blend of Jost Van Dyke's legendary beach bars with its exquisite dining options, McCoy anticipates the event will replicate the success of previous years.
Fifteen of the island's top restaurants will participate, including well-known spots like Foxy’s Tamarind Bar, Corsairs, and Hendo’s Hideout, offering a wide range of culinary delights. The event kicks off with a special Valentine’s Day celebration titled 'Love in Every Bite,' featuring complimentary roses, a photo contest, and romantic dinner offerings.
Subsequent themed nights, such as 'Lime in White Night' on March 1st, encourage guests to immerse themselves in the festivity's spirit by dressing in white and enjoying an evening of fine dining and entertainment. To facilitate attendance, a special ferry fare of $20 for a round trip is available exclusively to those who make reservations at participating restaurants.
The initiative is supported by local sponsors including Bobby’s Market Place, Caribbean Cellars, and Aladdin/Royal Shop, promising a warm welcome and delightful surprises for attendees.
