Lilla Zuill to Lead Collas Crill Bermuda
Collas Crill has appointed Bermudian litigator Lilla Zuill as Local Managing Partner to lead the firm's new Bermuda office, strengthening its regional litigation and dispute resolution capabilities. The move is intended to provide clients across the group's jurisdictions, including the Virgin Islands, with more seamless cross-border services in trusts, merger appraisal, insolvency and commercial litigation.
Collas Crill has announced the appointment of Bermudian lawyer Lilla Zuill as Local Managing Partner to lead its newly established Bermuda office, a move the offshore firm says will strengthen its regional litigation and dispute-resolution offering. The firm already maintains offices in the Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey and London, and says the Bermuda presence will enhance cross-jurisdictional support for clients.
Zuill brings extensive experience in commercial litigation, contentious trusts, insolvency and restructuring. According to Collas Crill’s press statement, she previously ran her own practice, Zuill & Co. LTD, and spent several years at another offshore law firm where she gained significant exposure to the Hong Kong market before serving as that firm’s Bermuda Managing Partner.
At Collas Crill, Zuill will join the global litigation and dispute resolution team and work closely with Partner Rocco Cecere, who leads the firm’s litigation practice in the Cayman Islands. Cecere noted the team’s ongoing involvement in merger appraisal litigation in Bermuda and other precedent-setting matters, saying the new Bermudian office led by Zuill will help provide clients with a "more seamless service across all our jurisdictions." Reflecting on her appointment, Zuill said the development will give clients "access to greater resources in and out of Bermuda," highlighting Collas Crill’s network of market-leading specialists in contentious trust disputes, merger appraisal actions, insolvency and commercial disputes.
