The Lions Club of Tortola and Unite BVI have joined forces for the Book Tree Project. The participated in a cheque handover for the Book Tree Project, along with a guideline meeting hosted by Unite BVI and its representative, Alexandra Katra. The club says the engagement provided an opportunity to formally acknowledge the financial support being provided toward the project and to review the relevant guidelines, reporting requirements, and expectations associated with the funding.
The Book Tree Project continues to support the Club’s commitment to literacy, education, and community development by improving access to books and encouraging a culture of reading among children and families throughout the Virgin Islands. According to the Club, this continued collaboration allows them to make a meaningful difference in the community.
