Man Charged After Fahie Hill Gun Find
A man has been charged after a Glock pistol, ammunition and a small quantity of marijuana were recovered during an intelligence-led operation at a Fahie Hill home on December 30, 2025. The suspect, identified as St Kitts and Nevis native Alex Archibald, faces counts including Keeping an Unlicensed Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Explosives and Possession of a Controlled Drug, police said.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has charged a man following the recovery of a firearm, ammunition and drugs during an intelligence-led operation in the Fahie Hill area of Tortola on December 30, 2025. Officers executed a search warrant at a residential property and arrested one male, later identified by the Police Information Office as Alex Archibald, a native of St Kitts and Nevis.
Archibald has been formally charged with Keeping an Unlicensed Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Explosives and Possession of a Controlled Drug. During the search police said they recovered a Glock firearm and 31 rounds of 9mm ammunition. Officers also seized approximately 8.82 grams of marijuana and other items described in the release as being of evidential value.
The RVIPF said the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to disrupt illegal firearm possession and drug-related activity across the territory. In its statement, the force underlined that illegal firearms remain a key driver in serious offences, including homicides, and reiterated its commitment to removing weapons from circulation to protect community safety.
This action follows a continuing focus by local law enforcement on intelligence-led policing, which authorities say improves the ability to target weapons and drugs before they fuel violence.
