Meyas Issues Two Tenders for Enis Adams
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports (MEYAS), has issued tenders for two separate maintenance projects at Enis Adams Primary School (EAPS) in Myers, Tortola: an Entry Gate Reconfiguration and an Interior Rail Retrofit. The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports (MEYAS), has invited tenders for two distinct maintenance projects at Enis Adams Primary School (EAPS) in Myers, Tortola: an Entry Gate Reconfiguration and an Interior Rail Retrofit, according to official notices from the BVI Government.
The Entry Gate Reconfiguration tender is intended to support routine maintenance and to enhance the safety and upkeep of the school grounds. Prospective tenderers are required to attend a mandatory site visit on Tuesday, 24 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. to assess existing conditions, determine necessary equipment and materials, and ask technical questions relevant to their bids, as stated in the MEYAS procurement notice.
Separately, MEYAS is inviting bids for an Interior Rail Retrofit at EAPS aimed at addressing interior railings and related upkeep needs. The Interior Rail Retrofit procurement also requires attendance at a site visit on Tuesday, 24 March 2025, with the meeting scheduled for 11:00 a.m., allowing bidders to review site conditions and clarify the scope and requirements before preparing their submissions (BVI Government).
Both tenders require tenderers to submit one original and one copy of the tender and supporting documents in a sealed envelope. Each envelope must be clearly marked with the appropriate project title: either "Entry Gate Reconfiguration at the Enis Adam Primary School (EAPS)" or "Interior Rail Retrofit at the Enis Adam Primary School (EAPS)".
Completed tenders should be addressed to: Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs & Sports, 2nd Floor, E.A. Creque Building, Main Street, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110. The deadline for receipt of submissions for both projects is Wednesday, 1 April 2026 at 10:00 a.m.; late submissions will not be considered.
The Government reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and to annul the procurement process at any time without liability, as outlined in the procurement notices from the BVI Government. Local contractors and firms with experience in school infrastructure, gates, access-control systems, and railwork are encouraged to participate.
Reconfiguration of the entry gate and retrofit of interior rails are intended to improve school safety and everyday operations for students and staff when completed professionally and on schedule.
