Sources say the incident occurred while the child was at home with his father, who was preparing a meal. The toddler reportedly wandered to the apartment’s balcony, and moments later the father heard a loud noise. Responding immediately, the father is said to have found his son in the yard below and carried him upstairs, where the child cried as his injuries were examined.
Authorities, including the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, have been notified and are continuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the fall. At this stage it remains unclear whether any charges or legal action will be pursued against the child’s father as investigators complete their assessment.
