P3 Marks Six Years in Thailand
P3 Paper Plastic Products Inc., a 100% Virgin Islands–owned wholesale firm, this year marks six years of operation in Thailand, becoming the first VI-headquartered wholesaler to establish a brick-and-mortar presence in Southeast Asia. The company, which operates distribution centres in Koh Samui and Phuket and supplies hotels and distributors across Asia and the Middle East, says it plans further Caribbean expansion and investor opportunities in 2026.
P3 Paper Plastic Products Inc., a company founded in the British Virgin Islands more than a decade ago, is celebrating six years of operations in Thailand — a milestone the firm says makes it the first Virgin Islands–headquartered wholesale business to expand into the Southeast Asian market.
P3 opened its Koh Samui branch in 2019 and added a second warehouse and distribution hub in Phuket in 2023 to serve Thailand’s large tourism and hospitality sectors. The company focuses on food-service disposables, janitorial supplies and biodegradable packaging, supplying resorts, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets across Southeast Asia. "We’re incredibly proud.
This isn’t just a business anniversary—it’s a living example of what’s possible when Caribbean entrepreneurs pursue global growth with focus and resilience," said Sinclair H. Flemming, CEO of P3. "Six years in Thailand shows that we can compete and scale internationally, while staying true to our values of integrity, consistency, and service.
For our brand, this milestone is a platform—it tells the world we’re not just regional players anymore." According to the company, P3 Thailand now provides reliable supply to more than 300 hotels, restaurants and distributors and serves clients beyond Thailand in markets including Singapore, Kuwait and Dubai.
Flemming highlighted job creation and cross-cultural collaboration in Thailand and noted the firm has introduced biodegradable alternatives to markets seeking more sustainable options. "We’re changing mindsets—showing that Caribbean firms can do business internationally with confidence," he said.
For BVI residents, P3’s achievement is notable not only for the commercial milestone but for its symbolic value. The company’s success demonstrates that a small, island-headquartered business can build international logistics and distribution systems, scale operations and attract global customers.
That precedent could encourage other Virgin Islands entrepreneurs and signal to local investors that outward expansion is feasible. Looking ahead, P3 says it is planning strategic expansion into three additional Caribbean countries while continuing pilot operations in Miami. The company plans to open equity investment opportunities in 2026 for partners interested in supporting Caribbean innovation and profitable, scalable logistics businesses.
The milestone was reported by Virgin Islands News Online and underscores growing opportunities for BVI firms to compete on a global stage while maintaining local ownership and pride.
