Williams opened the scoring in the 37th minute and completed a first-half hat-trick with strikes in the 40th and 45th minutes.
The match was called off three minutes into stoppage time after Sugar Boys’ Michael Castillo received a red card, leaving his team with just six players — one fewer than the minimum seven required under the Laws of the Game. Sugar Boys began the fixture with only nine players available and were further reduced when Mohammad Kachour went off injured in the 17th minute and Bradly Henry followed with an injury in the 35th.
The numerical disadvantages forced the abandonment and handed the Panthers (6-3-1, 21 points) a 3-0 victory that moves them clear at the top of the early-season standings. Saturday’s earlier interruption in a different match was attributed to a scheduled power outage, and clubs continue to struggle with travel and squad depth when forced to play away on Tortola or Virgin Gorda.
