⚠️ POWER OUTAGE NOTICE – TORTOLA, JVD & VG ⚠️ The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) wishes to advise customers that several areas across Tortola, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda are currently experiencing power outages following a surge that affected the Henry Wilfred Smith Power Station in Pockwood Pond, Tortola.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the surge, while our teams work to re-energise affected feeders and restore power as quickly and safely as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience and understanding.
