⚡ POWER OUTAGE UPDATE – RUSSEL HILL, TORTOLA ⚡ The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) wishes to advise customers that following the utility pole fire and subsequent break at Russell Hill, a replacement pole has now been planted, and our crew has commenced repairs and the transfer of electrical infrastructure to the new pole.
The outage continues to affect a portion of Russell Hill and sections of Main Street to Back Street Road near the Dr. Repairs are progressing, with completion anticipated by approximately 3:30 p.m. today. We apologise for the continued inconvenience and thank affected customers for their patience and understanding.
