Progress on strengthening law enforcement in the Virgin Islands 💪 Today, officers in His Majesty’s Prison Service received vetting application papers, marking the next step in the rollout of the vetting process following the agreement signed between Governor Pruce and the UK Home Office.

The agreement, which has been formally gazetted, enables the vetting of serving officers and applicants in the HM Prison Service, HM Customs and the Department of Immigration, helping to strengthen accountability, public confidence and the highest standards of public service. Vetting is a standard process used across law enforcement and border security organisations, providing assurance that those serving in positions of trust meet the standards expected of them. 🇻🇬🤝🇬🇧
