Excitement is building across the Territory as the Rotary Club of Central Tortola prepares to host its first Early Bird draw, offering ticket holders an opportunity to walk away with a $1,000 cash prize. The drawing is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 23, at the Cyril B.

At just $10 per ticket, the fundraiser gives residents a chance to win while directly supporting meaningful civic and charitable projects throughout the Virgin Islands. The overall campaign is headlined by an impressive grand prize: a brand-new 2026 BAIC BJ40 Plus SUV. To make the initiative possible, the civic organisation has teamed up with key corporate partners, including Tortola Auto Group (TAG) and NAGICO Insurances.

The collaboration aims to address pressing community needs and strengthen the club's ongoing capacity to serve the Territory. Jean emphasized that broad public participation is vital to the success of the fundraiser and the outreach programmes it funds. She expressed deep appreciation for the community's backing and the vital corporate support provided by TAG and NAGICO Insurances. "Every ticket purchased helps us turn our commitment to service into meaningful action," St.

Jean stated. "We want people to feel proud that their support will contribute to community development and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of others. We are grateful to Tortola Auto Group and NAGICO Insurances for sharing that vision and working alongside us." St. Jean added that enthusiasm has been climbing steadily as the date for the initial $1,000 draw approaches, with tickets moving quickly at vendor locations across the islands.

She encouraged everyone to pick up their tickets and invite friends and colleagues to participate, noting that every ten-dollar contribution helps accomplish significant community goals. In addition to individual sales, the Rotary Club is actively encouraging local businesses to get involved by purchasing tickets for employees and promoting the initiative within their workplaces.

The Early Bird draw serves as an added incentive for participants to secure their tickets early as momentum builds toward the ultimate grand prize vehicle giveaway. Raffle tickets are currently available at numerous convenient locations throughout the Territory, including Tortola Auto Group, CarQuest Auto Parts, The Original NY Pizza, Mi Amor, House of Luxury, McW Todman & Co, Caribbean Cellars, 284 Sporting Goods, and D’Brew Coffee Shop.

Tickets can also be purchased at NAGICO Insurances offices on Waterfront Drive in Tortola and on Virgin Gorda.
