Investigations remain ongoing in all cases. Beef Island traffic incident On Friday, 26 June, emergency services responded to a collision involving a delivery truck near Beef Island. Officers attended with BVI Airports Authority Fire and Rescue Service personnel and Emergency Medical Technicians.
Fire officers had to extricate the driver from the vehicle before he was taken to Dr. The RVIPF said preliminary inquiries are examining whether jet blast from nearby airport operations may have been a contributing factor because of the location's proximity to the runway. Major Bay child injury Police say a young child sustained injuries at a private residence in Major Bay on Saturday, 20 June. Orlando Smith Hospital for care and has since been discharged and is recovering with family. Attempted armed robbery in Cane Garden Bay An attempted robbery was reported in Cane Garden Bay in the early hours of Monday, 22 June. According to preliminary reports, two masked individuals approached a victim as he was entering his vehicle; one suspect was believed to be armed.
The victim escaped without physical injury. Police continue efforts to identify and locate the suspects and to establish the full facts of the incident.
