VI Motors Celebrates 60 Years
VI Motors Ltd. is marking six decades of service in the British Virgin Islands with a week of events from June 14–19, 2026, under the theme “60 Years Strong – Driven By You.” The company is also focusing on youth development with a technical outreach at the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies on June 10.
VI Motors Ltd., one of the British Virgin Islands’ longest-serving automotive companies, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month under the theme “60 Years Strong – Driven By You.” Founded in 1966 in Road Town, Tortola, the firm has become a familiar presence across the Territory through vehicle sales, servicing, spare parts, fuel distribution and transportation solutions that support daily life and local commerce.
To mark the milestone, VI Motors will host a week of celebratory and community-focused events from June 14–19, 2026. Planned activities include employee recognition, customer appreciation initiatives, community outreach and a public block party intended to honour the company’s past while signalling ongoing investment in the Territory’s future.

The company will hold a hands-on demonstration for students in the Automotive Programme at the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies (VISTS) on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00 AM. The session, led by VI Motors’ Service Manager, is designed to give young people practical exposure to vehicle maintenance and a clearer view of career pathways within the automotive sector. “While we celebrate our history, we are equally committed to investing in the future,” said Allan Parker, Managing Director of VI Motors. “This milestone belongs to our customers, employees, business partners, and the wider community who have supported us over the past sixty years.” For BVI residents, VI Motors’ anniversary is both a recognition of business resilience and a reminder of the essential role local firms play in island life – from keeping vehicles and equipment running to providing employment and training opportunities.
