The Water and Sewerage Department has launched a routine update of its customer database and is asking all customers to verify or provide current personal and account information when they contact the department, either in person or through its online services. Customers visiting the department — whether physically at an office or through the department’s online portal — will be asked to provide or confirm details with the Customer Care Services Unit.

The notice says the information requested may include personal and account details and that customers may be required to present supporting documents for verification purposes. All information collected will be used solely for official departmental records and administrative purposes.

The Department has emphasised the importance of accurate records for effective service delivery, including billing accuracy, timely communications, and rapid response in the event of service interruptions or emergencies. Officials are asking for the cooperation of all customers to ensure information provided is complete and up to date.

Customers seeking more information or assistance can contact the Customer Care Services Unit at 468-5834 or 468-5901. The public notice was issued by the Department of Information and Public Relations and signed by Information Officer Paul Bridgewater. For broader government services, residents may use the Government of the Virgin Islands’ virtual booking system or call the central line at 468-3701; WhatsApp enquiries are available at 468-9760.

The Water and Sewerage Department reassured residents that the update is administrative and will not disrupt the supply of water or sewerage services. The department reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a continuous supply of safe, potable water and environmentally sound sewerage disposal services to all residents of the Virgin Islands, delivered efficiently and at affordable rates.

Residents are advised to have identification and any relevant account information available when verifying details, and to contact the Customer Care Services Unit ahead of time if they require assistance or to schedule an appointment. The department thanks customers for their cooperation as it works to maintain accurate records and improve service delivery.
