District Three representative Julian Willock partnered with One Mart Superstore to deliver bottled water to schools and families in the Sea Cows Bay area on Monday, October 27, 2025, according to a press release circulated by Virgin Islands News Online (VINO). Twelve cases were distributed among three District Three schools — Ebenezer Thomas Primary School (ETPS), the Seventh-day Adventist School, and St. George’s Secondary School — while three cases were set aside for needy families in the Sea Cows Bay community, VINO reported. The handover event at ETPS included remarks from One Mart’s Chief Operations Officer, Mrs.
Vanterpool, who is also a Sea Cows Bay resident. VINO quoted Vanterpool saying One Mart was “delighted to make a donation,” noting her personal ties to the community: she taught at ETPS for a year many years ago and said she continues to watch the school’s academic performance. Vanterpool also shared a personal anecdote about admiring the school’s horse logo because of her father’s interest in horse ownership and training.
Tobin of the Seventh-day Adventist School told VINO he was grateful for the donation and said the bottled water “will be put to good use.” Representatives, students and teachers at St. George’s Secondary School expressed similar appreciation at the handover, VINO added. Willock is a former Speaker of the House of Assembly and a businessman. Willock said the smiles on the faces of principals, students, teachers, parents and community members were “truly encouraging,” and in a Facebook post he stated, “We do this out of love for our community and the critical importance of education,” VINO reported.
