Willock’s Third District Christmas Party and 3D
Julian Willock hosted a Christmas party and 3D raffle for children of the Third District on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre in Sea Cows Bay. The event drew more than 100 children, featured music, food, bounce houses and a community tree lighting, and organisers say the raffle prizes had a combined value exceeding $10,000 (VINO).
Julian Willock’s much-anticipated Third District Christmas party and 3D raffle took place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre in Sea Cows Bay, running from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM as planned. Organisers said no registration was required for children who live in the district, and the evening offered family-friendly entertainment for residents.
The programme opened with a prayer led by Third District resident Reverend Yvonne Nibbs-Flores. Following the prayer, Ms Forbes initiated a moment of silence for the late Karia J. Christopher, a prominent member of the Third District who passed away suddenly last week; organisers say Mr Willock expressed sorrow and asked residents to keep her family in their prayers (VINO).
More than 100 children attended and helped create a festive atmosphere, even singing a song for the adults in attendance, organisers reported. The night included music supplied by Selector Taz, food and drinks, bounce houses and the lighting of the community Christmas tree. Although Santa Claus did not make an appearance this year, the programme and activities kept spirits high throughout the evening (VINO).
A highlight was the 3D raffle, with tickets sold at $1 each and a total prize pool organisers say exceeded $10,000 (VINO). Raffle prizes donated by local businesses included a 32-inch TV from RiteWay Food Markets, two Anker Bluetooth speakers from iSmart, Sunday brunch for four with bottomless mimosas at Sugar Mill Hotel, dinner for two at Scrub Island, lunch for two at Drunken Pelican, Peter Island, a $100 shopping voucher from France Deli, a $100 food voucher from One Mart and a $100 gas voucher from Delta Petroleum.
All winners were announced at the event; those present collected their prizes and arrangements were made to contact winners who were not in attendance (VINO). Mr Willock thanked the community for its strong support and reaffirmed his commitment to giving back to District Three, telling residents he has a five-year plan for the district (press release cited by VINO).
He expressed personal gratitude to Ms Forbes, his committee and the many local businesses whose donations made the evening possible.
